
I've decided to do a list of 35 things to do before my 35 birthday (10/14/2018). And I wanted to share it because some of you are really good cooks, work for or love local organizations I can attend or volunteer at, or have a book I should read. Part of this journey will be to live in community more so I would love your help and companionship as I map out 35 things to do this year. Some of these things I will do for the first time like paddle boarding or kyaking in the ocean but others are things that I don't do enough like going to shows or running.
- Drink a vintage wine. DONE
- Make a hollandaise sauce. Stretch goal, make all the mother sauces.
- Take a cooking class.
- Make 1 new/challenging/exotic dish a month.
- Restart clean eating by doing it for 1 month. DONE
- Learn to make bread.
- Grow watermelon.
- Try a summer CSA.
- Make bacon!
- Make an Italian Easter bread.
- See a show/movie at the Tampa Theatre.
- Volunteer 35 hours to organizations in Pasco County.
- See a musical.
- Local Art - Gasparilla Art Festival or Tampa Museum of Art, Dali, etc. DONE
- Take an art class.
- Run in a 5k race. Stretch goal - 10k, etc (February)
- Take Toby camping. DONE
- Make a plan for canoe-ing every named lake in Land O' Lakes.
- Do a Fourteener in Colorado.
- Plan a Sunrise to Sunset Trip for just me or me & my fellow mom/lady friends.
- Donate "Christmas" to a homeless family. DONE
- Some sort of biking goal here.
- Paddle board and kayak in the ocean or gulf.
- Take a sailing class.
- Use Duolingo to learn conversational Spanish.
- Pray/Meditate daily practice during Lent. STARTED
- Give up soda for a year. STARTED
- Take the Enneagram STARTED
- Sew a t-shirt quilt.
- Start Grad school. (May)
Apply for Leadership Pasco.
- Media fast for a month. STARTED
- Read 20 books (this one will run through December 2018). STARTED on #9
- Create a family/framily recipe book and make a recipe with the person sharing it. STARTED
- Host quarterly casual, potluck dinners at the house.
